Belly Pics
Well I can't believe I'm posting this, but since this is the week I officially can't suck my stomach in anymore, why not document it. Hahaha.
The idea popped in my head at work to take a picture, when again...I have to struggle to get my scrub pants back on. Ha!

I stole this from Ashley...so here it goes.
How far along? 10.5 weeks
Maternity clothes? Not yet, sometimes I need my bellaband if I have eaten all day and am really bloated but I bought some new maternity clothes from Old Navy since they had a huge sale.
Stretch marks? Not yet, thank God.
Sleep: Sucks. I wake up 4-5 times a day/night having to go pee. Im sure it only gets worse.
Best moment this week: When girls at work are starting to notice my growing stomach and realizing I really cant suck it in anymore. It makes it more real.
Movement: None, too early.
Food cravings: This week, grape tomatoes, veggie tray and scrambled eggs, gyros and a Close Talker Salad from Moes.
Gender: No clue
Labor Signs: Nope
Belly Button in or out? Still in
What I miss: Wine & sleep
What I am looking forward to: Next ultrasound in March
Weekly Wisdom: Take everyone's unsolicited advice with a grain of salt. They mean well, even though it is incredibly annoying.
Milestones: Not being able to suck my belly in anymore. Lame huh?

I came to a realization last night. All my scrub pants are about to retire for the next 7 months. I'm growing in size and scrub pants are definitely not stretchy, lol. I don't even have to tie the drawstring to keep them up. I guess its time to move up a size.
People at work at poking at my belly noticing its growing so it's only in time. I still think its just a spare tire around by tummy but others thing differently. I do think its funny I cant suck my stomach in and look 20lbs lighter instantly anymore as of this week, hahahaha. Its only the beginning, welcome to the awesome world of human building.

Sooo, here's a good story, semi creepy.
I am at work tonight and I go into my patients room to put on her sleeping machine for bed. Im standing by her bed getting the Bipap machine ready and this is our conversation between us.
Me: Hey Mattie, Im here to put your sleeping machine on
Patient: Okay, Im ready
(I am now standing there setting up machine)
She randomly asks...
Patient: When are you due?
Me: What?! How did you know I was pregnant?
Patient: Oh sorry, sorry (turns head as if she felt bad)
Me: No, really, I AM pregnant...how did you know? Do I look that chunky already?
Patient: No, I just know
Me: What...seriously...maybe I have a glow?
Patient: No its not a glow. Do you know what your having?
Me: Nooo, not yet
Patient: Do you want to know?
Me: Ummm sure, go ahead and tell me
Patient: Its a girl, and its healthy, everything is going well
Me: Haha, okay. Thats great, Im going to come find you if your right and tell you good job (laughing)
Patient: Alright darlin
((Runs out of room wondering what the hell just happened))
So I go to the nurses station to tell them the story and they didnt even know I was pregnant. They confirmed I dont look like Im showing yet. I know Im chunky/bloated right now, but WOW...that was really weird.
The nurse assistant then went on to tell me that the patient called her into the room because she was hearing little kid voices in her room. Crrraaaaazy!
Anywho, I had to share the story with you guys...it was kinda creepy.

Oh Boy
No no no, its not a boy....yet. I feel like it has been since we came across a bargain baby name book at Barnes and Noble last night so Chris was page turning last night before bed. He is on a mission to find a boys name we like. Last night his favorites are Everett & Jameson (we would call him Jimmy like my Dad)
I came across some boy inspiration for nurserys, so I thought I would post them.

Nautical Themes

Nothing else is really new other than our baby is considered a fetus now, oh snap! Its growing quickly and my belly looks it too. Even though it just looks extra chunky right now. LOL
I just ate an entire carton of grape tomatoes...and I will probably go back to Publix for more tonight. Tomatoes & chocolate chip pancakes..imagine that craving.

Name Game
So I figured I would throw some names out there and see what you guys think. Chris and I have always talked about what our future kids names would be so we already had an idea.
If its a Boy......
Chris always wanted a III. (UGH- I dont)
Christopher Joseph D the III ---Blah
Then we decided we would call him Trey, a common name for 3rd generation name kids. But now we are kinda over that name. Hes actually willing to consider other names!!! YAY! He wants Michael, I want Charlie. We both totally disagree with eachother so it will be neither. So we are open to boy names.... bring them on.
If its a girl....
Linley Catherine (named after my sisters middle names Margaret Linley & Molly Catherine)
or
Lillian (insert middle name here)
Shoot, we will probably change our minds again, but for now...these are it.

Houston we have a baby!
We went for our first ultrasound and appointment today and everything went perfect! We started with our ultrasound and saw the baby and heard it heartbeat. The heartbeat was a strong 169. So Chris' fear of twins was confirmed as a NO today. LOL
Our Dr said everything looks great! He moved my due date back 4 days for now. So the new due date is 9/13/09 which puts me at 8.5 weeks. He thinks I am going to have a pretty uneventful pregnancy (Thank God) and he said my possibility for miscarriage went from 20% down to 1% with that ultrasound and heart rate. GOOD NEWS!
The other good news...Im cleared to eat Subway!!!! I dont even have to heat it up! I'm cleared for diet coke in moderation!!
I scheduled my next appointment and ultrasound on my Moms birthday since she will be in Florida week. Im so happy she will get to see the baby in person vs pictures.
