Nolan is so perfect! Every time we go in there, we can't help but stare and be amazed. Today we have noticed he is more Chris's kid than he already knows. Chris has HUGE hands and feet, and so does Nolan. Everyone notices his hands & feet. He also has the same fold in the same spot on the same ear that Chris does. You can't help but just fall head over heels for him. He's our little fighter.
Nolan has a semi rough night after we saw him last night. His O2 sats dropped and had to be placed on 100%. The Dr came in this morning and said the teeny tiny lungs he does have, one of them collasped due to secreations. They gave him surfactant again this morning and he responded to it pretty well. He was back down to 50% as of this afternoon and doing better. He is having problems with his blood sugars, they have been pretty high. One of the RT's mentioned that they have been saying they were SO surprised with how "decent: this little guy has been doing and has faith he will be okay, proven by how feisty he has been. Most of his roadblocks have been common roadblocks that most micro-preemies face. We just take one day at a time and pray God takes care if him.
Some of you noted how our picture is in the isolette, we added another picture to the isolette today. We added the big group picture of everyone that went on our wedding cruise. We wanted him to be reminded how many people are praying and pulling for him.
Every time we go see him I swear it's like the paparazzi is there to see him. We can't help but take pictures and videos of him. So sorry for all the pictures, your going to be seeing A LOT!
